Features: Straight leg positioned opposite of the valve’s air cylinder (an adjacent straight leg position is standard of the Vortex Wye Line Diverter design). Ferrule-type fittings on all inlets and outlets.

Results: Through this system, the company handles approximately 20,000 lbs – (9,070 kgs) of rice per hour. In order to support this material capacity, two Vortex Wye Line Diverters were sourced to address the process inefficiencies. By customizing the position of the diverters’ straight legs, the valves were afforded easier installation and integration into the existing system. With the additional feature of ferrule-type fittings, the Wye Line Diverters can be easily removed from the production line, in order to perform occasional system wash-down and maintenance.
