Application:
The gate is installed beneath a product bin and is being used as a maintenance gate.
Features: This hand-wheel actuated Vortex Titan Slide Gate was manufactured with a “dead pocket” special service inlet.
Once installed, initial material conveyed through the gate is trapped within the dead pocket opening. Subsequent conveyed material impacts on the previously trapped material.
This type of insert (sometimes called a “rock box”) can be incorporated to limit wear from abrasive material.
