A milling company in the Northeastern United States has streamlined its operations by strategically utilizing Two-Way Valves to efficiently transport flour across its facility. By utilizing Vortex Wye Line Diverters, the company benefits from the valves’ ability to handle both horizontal and vertical orientations to adapt to the facility's layout constraints. The lightweight yet durable construction of these valves allows for easy installation, even in tight spaces, while ensuring a long service life due to features like wear-resistant pressure plate seals and self-cleaning mechanisms during actuation. By maintaining a dust-tight seal to prevent contamination and ensuring seamless material flow, these valves have proven instrumental in enhancing operational efficiency and product quality across this milling operation.
Optimized milling with Vortex Wye Line Diverters: durable, space-saving valves ensure dust-tight seals, seamless flow, and enhanced efficiency in flour transport.
Valve Model Information:
- Vortex Model No. DRXX-2S4-SL-MG, XX"
- Quantum Series Wye Line Diverter Valve.
- Aluminum valve body with live loaded, wear compensating seals with a 304 stainless steel blade.
- Inlet and outlet weldments are constructed from 304 stainless steel.
- Material contact is 304 stainless steel and polymer.
- Double acting air cylinder actuator
- Valve is rated for 180˚F(82˚C) maximum continuous service. Nylon pressure plates are backed with a foam void filler and live loaded natural rubber load seals.
- (SL) - Inlet has a straight through conveying line design for easier "in line" installation of multiple diverters. The STRAIGHT WYE LINE DIVERTER is recommended when conveying primarily through one line, or when handling abrasive material. Inlet and Outlet has stubs for compression coupling connection.
- (MG) - Air cylinder is equipped with a magno-piston for use with magnetic reed position indication switches.
