Application:
The gates were manufactured with a special bolt mounting pattern to match the pattern of the existing airlocks. The smaller flange to flange dimension (1.75” – 44 mm) made it possible to add these gates to their equipment stack up.
The Vortex Titan Maintenance Gate features an extremely narrow profile for limited space installations. Additional features include lifting lugs, visual indicators, and a safety bonnet cover.
These gates were installed between material silos and airlocks. The customer was frustrated by having to empty the silos prior to performing required or emergency maintenance on down line equipment. These gates allowed the customer to shut down the material flow within the upper line so they could perform maintenance down the line.
