These four electrically-actuated Vortex Titan Slide Gates are used as an open/close valve in this coal fired power plant’s process. The customer’s previous valves leaked material and became jammed.
This Two-Way Mainline Diverter is comprised of two Vortex Titan Pressure Valves. The diverter will be used to stop material flow of hi-cal lime in the customer’s process.
This five-way Vortex Wye Line Diverter is being used by a vinyl extruder to handle CPVC (Chlorinated Polyvinyl Chloride). Material flows from one source to five destinations.
This Vortex Roller Gate features a valve body constructed of 6061-T6 aluminum with a 304 stainless steel blade and seal retainers. Material contact is 304 stainless steel and polymer.
The Vortex Rounded Blade Gate is designed to meet the most demanding applications. This gate will be located below a hopper and will handle fines up to 2” chunks of sodium silicate solid glass.
These Vortex Orifice Gates were designed for shutting off a silo handling polycarbonate pellets. The gates were destined for Asia to be installed in a coastal location with a tropical climate.
This Vortex Roller Gate was designed with double-acting air cylinder actuators and was constructed with a 6” (150mm) special service inlet to match the customer’s pattern.
This Vortex Handslide Gate will be used in a gravity flow application by a Californian fertilizer producer to stop the material flow of finished fertilizer.
These 24 Vortex Quantum Orifice Gates feature an aluminum valve body with live loaded, wear compensating seals. The gate has a 304 stainless steel blade, main flange and orifice liners.
This rectangular Vortex Titan Slide Gate features a heavy-duty valve frame construction based on formed carbon steel channel with a beveled, 304 stainless steel blade and liner.
The Vortex Handslide Gate is a manually operated process gate used to control flow on the inlet/outlet of hoppers, bins or totes in applications where powered gates are not feasible or desired.
These Vortex Pivoting Chute Diverters were designed with 316L stainless steel and will be used to handle potassium sulfate by an American minerals supplier.
The Vortex Seal Tite Diverter is used in gravity flow applications where dry bulk solid materials must be diverter from one source toward (in this case) three destinations.
A chemical plant sourced chainwheel operated Vortex Roller Gates to handle polymer. These gates are located 10-12 feet off the ground. A looped chain allows for the gates to be opened from the floor.
In this application, the customer specified Halar coating over other liner options due to past success with this product on chutes and other equipment they have in service.
In this application, Vortex Wye Line Diverters are included on a piece of equipment that acts as a multi-tool machine used for the manufacturing of airplane parts.
These pneumatically actuated Vortex Titan Slide Gates feature blades and inlet liners that are constructed of abrasion-resistant steel (400 BHN) to address wear from industrial sand.
These Vortex Quantum Orifice Gates were developed with a 2” (50mm) opening to stop material flow. The gates will be utilized by a respiratory medical products manufacturer to handle absorbent.
A Danish producer of animal protein solutions for the food & beverage industry will use seven 4-way Vortex Wye Line Diverters to divert the flow of protein pulver in the production of food products.
This pneumatically actuated Vortex Titan Slide Gate features a blade and inlet liners that are constructed of abrasion-resistant steel (400 BHN) to address wear from the material handled.
Aggregate Diverters are designed to handle abrasive materials in gravity applications. These diverters were part of a plant expansion that included Aggregate Gates, Roller Gates & Seal Tite Diverters.
